Blood Donors Needed – Ennis Clinic:  The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) is appealing to blood donors across Ennis and the surrounding areas to attend the upcoming blood donation clinics at the West County Hotel, Ennis.  Demand for blood in Irish hospitals continues to increase, with almost 31,000 units of blood issued to hospitals over the past thirteen weeks. Current blood stocks remain under significant pressure, with just 1.7 days’ supply of O Negative, 1.5 days’ supply of AB Negative, and 2.8 days’ supply of B Negative available. The average stock level across all blood groups currently stands at 3.9 days.  West County Hotel, Ennis: Monday 2^nd November 4.40pm – 8.10pm & Tuesday 3^rd November 4.40pm – 8.10pm.
