Clarecastle Tidy  Towns  as part  of the  Spring Clean 2023  project have carried out inspections on both sides of the River Fergus banks going south from Clarecastle and sadly quite a lot of rubbish is visible on both banks.

We are looking  for volunteers to support our Clean-up of the Left Bank on Saturday 25th February commencing at 10:30 AM – Meet up point is  Kerins Cross area (Doora Exit on R458)

Suitable footwear essential ( strong or wellington Boots) gloves and Pickers.  Clarecastle Tidy Towns will have some pickers available  on the day.  The Clean-up will be done at low tide but for safety purposes this is not suitable for young children.
