Our Thanks to all the brilliant volunteers who came out in force for the Clarecastle Tidy Towns Spring Clean 2023. Great to see the number of volunteers on the day and during the week and more areas will be completed before end of April. Sadly, the amount of litter is in fact increasing – this is casual litter along the roadside, paths and grass margins, in bushes etc – thrown from passing vehicles or dropped by pedestrians. Clarecastle Tidy Towns is now getting ready for this year’s National Tidy Towns competition and as in previous years we are seeking your help in getting your own place neat and tidy and well presented. We are seeking more volunteers to assist with flower beds, kerb weed control, painting, general clean-up and admin work.  The group meets on Monday evenings in the church car park at 7 pm.  New members are very welcome to join us.
